This club is for Juniors aged 8 to 17

Easter Holiday Club runs from 8th April until the 18th April.

We will be offering multiple activities. These clubs give participants a taster in there chosen activity as well as getting to make new friends.

    - Learn some survival skills, from how to use a knife safely to create a fire stick so you can make a campfire, to building a shelter out of materials you can find in the wild.

    - Bell Boats are large, multihull, craft that can accommodate a group of up to 10 participants paddling together. Challenge your group to paddle in time to manoeuvre your boat around the lake. A great activity to promote water confidence and basic paddling in a stable boat, whilst playing games and meeting new people.

    - Take to the helm with our holiday club sailing, and begin to learn what sailing is all about. Suitable for those just starting out in a boat or working towards your RYA stage awards, or just after some fun on the water.

    - Climb to new heights! HYMB has a unique 8m outdoor climbing wall, with easy-angled slabs suitable for complete beginners to more challenging overhangs for the more daring. Our wall has something for everyone and of course, we have some creative games to keep you on your toes.

    - Fancy yourself as a pirate? Master the art of fencing in our Holiday club. You will start to learn the basics, including holding a foil correctly, before having duels with others.

    - A Kayak is a closed cockpit boat that is paddled with a double-bladed paddle. You will start to learn some basic skills such as how to move forward and turn, whilst enjoying a mini adventure on the HYMB lake. Suitable for those who have never ventured onto the water before as well as for those working towards their Paddlepower Awards.

    - Pick up your bow and arrow and aim for gold. Come and learn some basics techniques to get you shooting on a target with some interesting games to play along the way.

    - Take a tour around our man-made cave. The HYMB cave system is one of a kind in the UK and replicates the look of a real limestone cave. Learn about cave features and take time to explore the many passageways throughout our cave system.

    - Open Canoeing is an open cockpit craft with a single bladed paddle. While this boat can be paddled tandem or solo, our Holiday club will see you paired up to get your canoe moving forwards whilst learning new skills during a mini adventure around the HYMB lake. Suitable for those who are new to paddle sport, or for those working towards their Paddlepower awards.
