Climbing 28th May 2019 11:30 am - 1:00 pm - Climb to new heights! HYMB has a unique 8m outdoor climbing wall, with easy-angled slabs suitable for complete beginners to more challenging overhangs for the more daring. Our wall has something for everyone and of course, we have some creative games to keep you on your toes.
Canoeing 28th May 2019 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Open Canoeing is an open cockpit craft with a single bladed paddle. While this boat can be paddled tandem or solo, our Holiday club will see you paired up to get your canoe moving forwards whilst learning new skills during a mini adventure around the HYMB lake. Suitable for those who are new to paddle sport, or for those working towards their Paddlepower awards.
Caving 29th May 2019 9:30 am - 11:00 am - Take a tour around our man-made cave. The HYMB cave system is one of a kind in the UK and replicates the look of a real limestone cave. Learn about cave features and take time to explore the many passageways throughout our cave system.

Kayaking 29th May 2019 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm - A Kayak is a closed cockpit boat that is paddled with a double-bladed paddle. Great weekend 1 star paddle course. Brilliant!
Enjoyed a fantastic 2 day 1 star paddle course this weekend. Thank you Alan for being a great teacher. Amazing place. We all had a great time and learnt a lot.
I think this is the best thing for miles around, stunningly beautiful with fantastic instructors and amazing value for money.
Both my sons have been on several courses and had a fantastic time and earned some qualifications whilst having fun!
An absolutely amazing place for kids. Best way to take first steps in canoeing, kayaking, archery for your kids. Saturday sessions, holiday club. For kids over 8 years old. Activities for adults as well, I haven’t tried that though.
Excellent centre, 9 yr daughter had a great week in the Easter holidays. Definitely recommend.
A huge thank you from the SPACE charity for an amazing paddlesports level 1 session today. Andrew and Terry were fantastic with the group and the feedback from the parent’s & teens has been amazing. We look forward to running more events at HYMB very soon!!
Love this place great for the kids and grown-ups alike
I once said to my friend: ‘I didn’t make it to the top on Climbing today, I let go off the wall 🙁‘. He asked me: ‘Did everyone laugh at you?’. I realised that no one in Girls Outdoors would ever do this! All I heard was: ‘Good try!’ and ‘You will get there next time.’. And I did! 🙂. This is why I love GO ♥ positivity never leaves the group 😀
Many thanks to Alan for a really enjoyable and packed weekend introduction to paddling. Really great value for money. Will definitely be back!!
Girls Outdoors It was great to find a female only activity, and the activities themselves are challenging and enjoyable. The price is reasonable too. I will be coming back to continue this club!
