The GO club has taken me out of my comfort zone and even when I thought I couldn’t do something they helped me believe I could do it. Its a great fun club with the nicest people and incredible instructors. 🙂
On Wednesday 7 August nine Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children aged 16 to 19 visited Herts Young Mariners Base in Cheshunt for a day of water sport activities. The morning consisted of open boat canoeing followed by a kayaking session which included kayak polo. After lunch the group learned the basics of SUPing (stand up paddle-boarding). Started openwater swimming there on a Wednesday evening. Fantastic lake to swim in with amazing coaching by BeEndurance coaching.
Saturday Adventure Club Climbing My son really enjoys the climbing sessions and attends on Wednesdays as well. He looks forward to coming and mentioned how he enjoys Andrew teaching him.
Both my sons have been on several courses and had a fantastic time and earned some qualifications whilst having fun!

I think this is the best thing for miles around, stunningly beautiful with fantastic instructors and amazing value for money.
An absolutely amazing place for kids. Best way to take first steps in canoeing, kayaking, archery for your kids. Saturday sessions, holiday club. For kids over 8 years old. Activities for adults as well, I haven’t tried that though.
Excellent centre, 9 yr daughter had a great week in the Easter holidays. Definitely recommend.
I once said to my friend: ‘I didn’t make it to the top on Climbing today, I let go off the wall 🙁‘. He asked me: ‘Did everyone laugh at you?’. I realised that no one in Girls Outdoors would ever do this! All I heard was: ‘Good try!’ and ‘You will get there next time.’. And I did! 🙂. This is why I love GO ♥ positivity never leaves the group 😀
