An absolutely amazing place for kids. Best way to take first steps in canoeing, kayaking, archery for your kids. Saturday sessions, holiday club. For kids over 8 years old. Activities for adults as well, I haven’t tried that though.

I realised that no one in Girls Outdoors would ever do this! All I heard was: ‘Good try!’ and ‘You will get there next time.’. And I did! 🙂. On Wednesday 7 August nine Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children aged 16 to 19 visited Herts Young Mariners Base in Cheshunt for a day of water sport activities. The morning consisted of open boat canoeing followed by a kayaking session which included kayak polo. After lunch the group learned the basics of SUPing (stand up paddle-boarding). Girls Outdoors It was great to find a female only activity, and the activities themselves are challenging and enjoyable. The price is reasonable too. I will be coming back to continue this club!
