HYMB is inspected and members of a range of professional bodies including the following:
- Adventuremark and Learning Outside the Classroom
- Adventurous Activity Licensing Service (AALA)
- British Canoeing (BC)
- Royal Yachting Association (RYA)
- British standup paddleboarding association (BSUPA)
- Duke of Edinburgh (D of E)
- British Mountaininerg council (BMC)
All HYMB Staff members carry enhanced Data Barring Service (DBS) certificates.

Due to the current circumstances with Covid 19 some of the activities we offer are unavailable. We are also constantly updating out risk assessment, please contact the centre and we will be happy to share our currently Risk assessment.
These accreditations demonstrate our high standards in all our outdoor adventurous activities. We have many years experience running fun, safe, challenging team building, land and water based activities for individuals, schools, colleges and youth groups; with many returning years after year.
