Following our successful Mariners Mile event which was held in September, we are delighted to announce that a grand total of £234.27 was raised for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

Herts Young Mariners Base hosted their first Mariners Mile open water swimming event in Cheshunt at the end of September and was open to anyone over the age of 14. Competitors could take part in a 500m loop of the main lake, a half mile course covering both lakes, or the Mariners Mile Loop, also covering both lakes.
